My Story

In 2024 I set out and completed the Five Peak Challenge to summit the highest peak in each country of the United Kingdom in 48 hours, including the travel between Wales, England, Scotland, N. Ireland & Rep. of Ireland!

1st Peak Snowden in Wales (3559 ft), 2nd Scafell Pike in England (3204 ft), 3rd Ben Nevis in Scotland (4406 ft), 4th Slieve Donard in Northen Ireland (2789 ft) & finally Carrantuohill in Republic of Ireland (3414 ft). A total climb of 17,372 ft over 48 hours. A great challenge that I would highly recommend, Small Group Travel Adventure Trips | Advocate Events provided an professional and enjoyable experience.

The fundraising was for North West Anglian Hostipals and more specifically Peterborough City Hopsital totalled £880! The cause is important to me because of the amazing support myself and wife Meg have recieved from them since 2023 which continues into present day. Covering Peterborough, Huntingdon, Stamford, Rutland, Doddington, Wisbech & Ely they help plenty of others too!

The new goal for 2025 is a Nine Peak challenge over 72 hours...

Peak Snowdon (3559 ft), Crib y Ddysgl (3,494 ft), Carnedd Llewelyn (3,491 ft), Scafell Pike (3,204 ft), Scafell (3,163 ft), Helvellyn (3,116 ft), Ben Nevis (4,406 ft), Ben Macdui (4,295 ft) & finally Braeriach (4,251 ft). A total climb of 32,979 ft over 72 hours.

If you are in a position to do so I am asking for your geniouristy again, it would be a great feeling to get the total over 1k into 4 figures, a huge thank you to those who supported last year.

The plan is to begin the climb on Sunday 13th July.
